چکیده

Yang He Decoction (YHD), a classical Chinese medicine prescription, is used to treat bone and joint diseases. However, there are few mechanism studies for YHD on the use of tuberculosis (BT) corresponding action YHD. In present study, chemical ingredients targets were revealed by network pharmacology method, an ingredient–target–disease was visualized analyzed. Then, gene ontology enrichment analysis Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes pathway carried out. addition, molecular docking performed clarify binding key active targets. Further, in vitro model Mycobacterium tuberculosis-induced BT established, inhibitory effect differentiation RAW 264.7 cells into osteoclasts investigated. A total 138 50 between identified. Antitumor effect of resveratrol on chondrosarcoma cells via phosphoinositide 3-kinase/AKT and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase pathways.

Chondrosarcoma is one of the most common types of primary bone cancer that develops in cartilage cells. Resveratrol (Res), a natural polyphenol compound isolated from various fruits, has a suppressive effect on various human malignancies. It has been shown that Res inhibits matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-induced differentiation in chondrosarcoma cells. However, the effects of Res on cell prolif...

Inactivation of mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathway reduces caspase-14 expression in impaired keratinocytes

Objective(s):Several investigations have revealed that caspase-14 is responsible for the epidermal differentiation and cornification, as well as the regulation of moisturizing effect. However, the precise regulation mechanism is still not clear. This study was aimed to investigate the expression of caspase-14 in filaggrin-deficient normal human epidermal keratinocytes (NHEKs) and to explore the...

Organization and regulation of mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathways.

Mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) are components of a three kinase regulatory cascade. There are multiple members of each component family of kinases in the MAPK module. Specificity of regulation is achieved by organization of MAPK modules, in part, by use of scaffolding and anchoring proteins. Scaffold proteins bring together specific kinases for selective activation, sequestration and...

Redox-dependent dimerization of p38α mitogen-activated protein kinase with mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 3

The kinase p38α MAPK (p38α) plays a pivotal role in many biological processes. p38α is activated by canonical upstream kinases that phosphorylate the activation region. The purpose of our study was to determine whether such activation may depend on redox-sensing cysteines within p38α. p38α was activated and formed a disulfide-bound heterodimer with MAP2K3 (MKK3) in rat cardiomyocytes and isolat...

Mitogen-activated protein kinase pathways in redox signaling.

It has been known for quite some time that proper cellular function requires tight control of the cellular redox state. In recent years, a growing body of literature has provided evidence of a role for reactive oxygen species (ROS) as important mediators of proliferation, acting as second messengers to modulate the activation of various signaling molecules and pathways. In contrast to high leve...
